May Blossom

One of the delights of May. The floral abundance and wonderful aroma of May blossom.

There is a lot of hawthorn around here, white in May, red in November. One of my favourite plants.

The self seeded little hawthorn in our back garden is in the wrong place, but I am loathe to remove it just yet. But there is no room for it to grow as large as the blipped example.
