Haven

So, it turns out that we ARE getting a puppy! I’m a month’s time, in fact. The breeder contacted us at the weekend.

In light of this exciting news, we thought Nikau should have a safe haven when the puppy arrives. It took me the best part of an hour to understand the appallingly bad instructions, but it’s worth it; Nikau loves it!

Tomorrow the back fence is being replaced in preparation for our new arrival.

I miss my Cousteau as much today as I have since he left us, but am focusing on the future and our next chapter as a family.
