Look Outs

A day of driving for me (Annie). Starting in the beautiful town of Epernay, I headed out on the Avenue de Champagne, through the vineyards, out to the main roads. It was a (roughly) 300 mile drive, but I had all day and a comfy car to do it in.

I took a diversion up through the Vosges national park, as it was much more beautiful than only trekking on AutoRoutes. Wiggly mountain roads, great views - what's not to like? The blip is the Rocher du Diable (a rocky arch to drive through).

This evening I arrived at my friends' Swiss chalet. Good food, great wine and lots of catching up to do. That's the stuff of soul mending.
