Zoe's Mission

Today we set off early for Cambridge. We got to Jon's parents house in time to watch the royal wedding, and then had lunch together. Jon was at the neighbours finishing off the fence he started yesterday. They were pleased with the result as always.

At 5 o'clock, after picking up a sack each of corn and layers pellets from Fulbourn, we arrived in Linton for Zoe'sfund raising barbeque. As part of YWAM (Youth with a mission) she will be heading back out to Latvia in June, and from there to Norway. She has already spent 5 months out there and is eager to get back, but needs to raise funds herself. Here she is, posing for me. They had requested fancy dress but I couldn't organise that for us, but the girls looked good!

It was great to catch up with a few of our Linton friends, but never long enough. We left at 9.30 for Melbourn where we collected Bracken and Jon's car and trailer, then drove home in convoy, getting back in at 12.20am.

Off to bed now. We all need a lie in tomorrow so the alarm is switched off!!
