Wanderings & Witterings

Doocot

Our Tuesday walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers took us from Cumbernauld Village, through Cumbernauld Glen (see extra) and Cumbernauld House Park before returning to the Village. It was a beautiful sunny morning and that was reflected in the turnout.

Cumbernauld Glen was recently listed as one of the best places to see bluebells, and it certainly disappoint, living up to that billing handsomely.

My main blip is of the 16th Century doocot (dovecote) in the Glen, suitably fronted by some of the said bluebells.
