Having a turn

The waxeye and I both having a turn. It is drinking from the tui tea jar while nothing much else around. I am blipping my first waxeye for some weeks or is it months. We dug the last of the carrots and parsnips today. The parsnips  I will freeze the parsnips and the carrots will keep in the garage under some cloth for some weeks.

Winter has arrived down under. Heavy coating of snow on our mountain ranges overnight and a wind chill factor of about 5 I reckon.
