Derelict Gates

It was a morning of clearing the villa and packing. Although we had a late flight, we set off in good time to take a long way round and see another part of the countryside. We took a route through the mountains to the south east of Murcia; they were spectacular.
We stopped at two derelict buildings (out of many, many options). Passing by a huge area of terraced land, now rocky and devoid of crops, we paused to record these gates - one of several sets for Finca de Hermanos Zamoras. They tell the story of past prosperity and success, in what must have been a busy enterprise.
Now waiting at Murcia airport for a delayed flight back to Luton. Due to take off in half an hour and it hasn't yet arrived!!!

Update: plane arrived at 10:20 but in the end we were only 20 minutes late landing in UK. Then ...... about 30 mins in queue to get through passport control (I have never seen it that bad before) followed by 50 minute wait to get our car brought back to us from the meet & greet company - won't be using them again!!!! So, all in all, a very late arrival home.
