Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Mink

A nice row before too much wind came up.   The otters are not bothering the boat on the dock…so far   There seem to be quite a few mink around so I’m working on a better photo. ( yes the American mink is native here and are semi aquatic and carnivorous) Watched this little one dive off these rocks for almost a minute and then come back up…all wet, eating something off the rock. Shook his head and rubbed it on the rock.   Didn’t realize how many oysters were in this section of shore.  (The oysters are big ones, but you can still appreciate how small the mink is)
Also liked the extra of the vertical  rock of Charles Island with dappled light, with all the sedum in bloom (how does it manage to grow there anyway?) and 2 pigeon Gillemots just sunning …They do nest in this rock wall.
Well the extra won't load so I'm going to put it on my other journal https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2446855304248298729

The chore for the day was to clean the rest of the Tall House, including the screened porch…it’s ready for guests now!
