Woodpecker magic

I spent an hour this morning in the woods braving the bugs to watch Mrs Woodpecker fly back and forth from the nest where a very noisy little youngster was waiting for food. It was a delight to watch and I feel so privileged to be able to witness this. No idea where the male was.....taking it easy I guess ;)
