Marathon heroes

Here are the happy faces of Mr hazelh and our brother-in-law Julian on their return to the flat after completing the Edinburgh marathon today. Mr hazelh came in at 3 hours, 31 minutes and 4 seconds, and Julian completed the course an hour later.

While they were out pounding the streets I worked on a grant proposal. This marked my return to the desk in my new, improved study (with wonderful sofa). I very much enjoyed the upgraded surroundings.

Exercise today: walking (11,021 steps up to town to wave off my heroes)
