Another haar this morning but it lifted thank goodness and we had a beautiful day. Started off walking the P around one of our Schools to meet people, talking on the way about his poorly dog
Afternoon in the office then over to hazelh’s for book group. Kir Royale outside first, celebrating her end of treatment, C’s recovery from pneumonia and mrhazelh’s success in the marathon yesterday.
The book-Manhattan Beach by Jennifer Egan-was one I tried to listen to on Audible but it didn’t capture my attention so I didn’t finish it. By the sound of what others thought I may try again as apparently there are beautiful sections of writing
