The Lozarithm Lens

Devizes (Thursday 31st May 2018)

I think I discovered Blip Heaven this afternoon. I had gone to this reclamation yard to look at some oak shelving but spent most of the time with my camera exploring all the textures and colours spread before me.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Elmore James - Talk To Me, Baby (recorded 21 February 1963, New York, for Fire Records)
This telephone-related track enables me to include something by the great Elmore James, king of the slide guitar, who would have been 100 this year. This was a remake of a song he had recorded for Chess in 1960. It comes from his last ever recording session, just three months before his death in Chicago on May 24th, and features Walking Willie on piano.
