Mellis

We went for a little wander around a few gardens in Mellis today.  

Some interesting features.  But the most striking aspect - the horses and cattle grazing the common in the traditional way. 

My hip only allowed us to wander slowly around about 6 gardens, with lunch in one of them as a break.  There were bee orchids in one orchard - but my camera decided not to focus on the orchids, but on the background grass, so no usable photos.
