On the Canal

It has been a complicated day with another key saga.
We started with a visit to my mother in Suffolk. She was in good form and quite happy. We had a short time with her and then met my brother in the pub over the road while mum was having lunch. We returned later and spent time with Mum in the garden of her home and also introduced her to Pepper.

On the return journey, we took a call from Edward who had been at the NEC in Birmingham with my mini. He had done very well in his tournament but had lost the car key! To cut a long story short, he got the train from B to Milton Keynes, we drove home, picked up spare car key and then drove to MK, handed over the key to Edward who took the train back to B'ham and then drove the car home.

On the way back from dropping off the key to Edward, we paused at a place along the canal to watch the narrow boats go through the locks; this is one of the reflections.

We are all tired this evening.
