Umbrellas in Hartford

One might as well say Travelers in Hartford--Travelers Insurance Co., based in Hartford Connecticut, nicknamed the "Insurance Capital of the World" according to this Wiki article. Travelers' iconic symbol is these red umbrellas--in some airport passages they are projected on the wall and fly up as people's shadows pass them. We pass them often at Hartford's nearest airport, Bradley International (BDL).

We had visited the Wadsworth Atheneum, a wonderful museum in the center of Hartford, and passed this overpass between two Travelers buildings as we walked back to our car. Our last visit to the museum had been on Juneteenth Family Day in June 2011. This time the main event was a comprehensive exhibition of their French paintings.
