A Meandering Life...

The Kenai Peninsula

Last night we stayed in Talkeetna again, a night of trains, planes and helicopters making full use of 21hrs of sunlight with 3hrs of twilight.

We have now moved on, 200 miles south to the Kenai Peninsula. We are spending tonight at Porcupine camp at Hope. It is a US Forest Service camp in the Chugach National Forest overlooking the Turnagain Arm inlet the home of Beluga whales and Bald Eagles.

This is our Mini Winnie. The little path behind her leads to our own private area where there is a huge wooden bench and fire pit. The views are stunning. I will add extras once I have posted.

Tomorrow we will head towrds Kenai and then Homer.
