Winter View from Wow Corner

Well, as predicted the snow came through last night. We didn't get much at home, but the dusting along the valley road was enough to ensure a slippery drive in some places.

Here's the view as you descend down from the Waikari hills (the peaks that the Rangitata Gorge cuts through) towards the Valley floor. This is just past White Rock Station, my third stop on the Mail Run to Mesopotamia, seen here below the peaks of the Two Thumb Range in the distance.
