Christmas Tree Coal Tit

One of the dear young coal tits from the family that frequents our Norway spruce. The coal tit is the smallest European tit and has a more slender bill than great or blue tits which means that it is better suited to feeding in conifers.

We had a nice day catching up with our son. It was lovely to introduce him to Ollie dog. He's a real dog-lover and she took to him immediately. The four of us had a special fishy evening BBQ with celebratory drinks. It was very pleasant sitting in the garden listening to the birds. A hobby flew over, the first I have seen at home.

Another backblip as my blip would have been wobbly. :)
