Skipper

I went for a lunchtime walk along the Bank. It was overcast but warm, and their were a few Large Skipper (main image) and Speckled Wood about. 

13yo has returned without blisters from his practice DoE expedition in Nidderdale and seems in good spirits. The fine weather will have helped but he seems to have taken it all in his stride, as it were.
