Bonfire Night

There was a local bonfire and firework event near us this year so I thought I'd go to a vantage point and try some shots.

The day had been very cold and dry with fog in the countryside. As darkness fell, visibility dropped too. In the evening at home we had a clear starry sky but, as we drove towards Penrith we were back into fog. We couldn't see the fireworks so I thought I'd go into town with the camera and tripod, hoping to catch the fog in the shots.
