Dead Roses

The dying roses my florist gave me last week to blip are well and truly dead now. I blipped them nevertheless.

I wanted to give the crisp dead petals and leaves a tender softness. I had been given a huge bunch of rejected roses so I could use one for a blip about the death of The Mother's cat so, in a way, I'm trying to soften the effect of that too!

Anyhow, I did an ordinary shot, then a shot through black nylon, combined them as 2 layers and slightly erased through to the plain layer on part of the flowers.

Other people I know need the effect of their day softened too. If only it was as easy as using Photoshop.
