New Territory!

I've lived in Lincolnshire all my life but growing up, the only seaside place I went to within the county was Skegness. I've since visited Mablethorpe and Ingoldmells, and today for the first time, I went to Chapel st. Leonards.

It is small and quaint and rather shabby, but it has a superb beach. Brian  and I were meeting up there with Jeri and the Grandsons. It took us ages, and three walks along the beach to find them - meaning I easily got all my FitBit steps!

We ate a picnic on the beach, and the boys had a good play. My Blip shows them enjoying the waves! After a while we let them have a little fun on the 2p machines in an arcade, and then we all had ice cream. It was a perfect day for the beach - even sunnier than the forecast predicted!
