Rock

A very busy day in terms of visitors, in contrast to yesterday. There were nearly 400 on the island, through the day, including a wedding and the folk from CapellaNova, singing in Latin. A glorious, high, lonesome sound, plainchant, but with some hints of the old Celtic Church.
Colleague Russell found this stone (decorated beautifully by three year old Michael) hidden on the island. There is a new Thing in Fife, where painted stones are hidden, then found and hidden again; it's a bit like low-tech geocaching? This stone is now hidden somewhere on Inchcolm...
