albinism

A day without much opportunity on the Blip side of life.

Lots of work to be done, and out for lunch at Rotary. To make up for a sad little meal, we had a great speaker - a pediatric opthamologist eye doctor, who filled us in on the technicalities of albinism. Fascinating.

He spent 6 months working in Tanzania recently, and so he is well educated when it comes to the difficulty of albinism under the equatorial sun and in a very poor country.

A subject close to our hearts, of course.

Tanzania

Had I not been so intent on what he was telling us, I might have thought to Blip him. One of those rare folk who has a huge knowledge of a very specialist subject, but can explain it all to us lay people very well.

Ended up Blipping the sunset.
