Photographing orchids at Pye Flatt Meadow

We’ve just arrived home from our annual visit to Pye Flatt Meadow to photograph the orchids, other wild flowers and insects except it started to rain when we arrived and most of the insects disappeared (plenty of slugs though).  At least it is close enough for me to re-visit, but I’ll need to go back soon as most of the orchids are turning brown at their base.

Some progress made in the front garden this morning and Merv is coming tomorrow with his hedge trimmer.  It’s amazing how the shrubs have grown this year.
