Winter stroll......

......sun at last!!!

I phoned mum to see if she would like a stroll along the beach, of course she said 'yes' as mum loves the beach and 15 mins later I had picked her up and off we went.

It was really nice to be out in the fresh air and fresh it was! Waves gently lapping the shore, gulls gliding in the sky, reflections changing with the light, it was pure magic!

I took the Canon out for a whirl, rolled off a few shots and went to look at them and no memory card, couldn't believe it!! Thankful for my phone to capture this beautiful scene.

Nice to have a winter stroll with mum here at the beach and while the sun was out especially after last nights news - Christchurch has had a mere 13 hours sunshine in 18 days, usually for June we have a total of  120 hours, this June so far we are well down.

Bring on more sunny days and winter walks along the beach :)
