Seeing Beyond Looking

Sunday dessert!

I thought you might like to see a lighter version of the wickedly delicious Italian dessert called Tiramisu!
The real thing includes Mascarpone, eggs, Boudoir biscuits, coffee, sugar, Marsala sweet wine, etc!
My lighter version uses 'Skyr' instead of Mascarpone and no eggs, only 2 tsp of sugar, coffee, Marsala wine and one and a half Boudoir biscuits per person (soaked in the two liquids very briefly).
Two layers of biscuits and three layers of Skyr and topped with sieved dark chocolate cocoa!

I've set the table outside for Sunday lunch with the six different dahlia flowers presiding next to the table. Ah! Life is good! Then a new book to start after dessert!

I didn't know about Skyr until recently. It's an Icelandic cultured dairy product, brought from Norway to Iceland 1100 years' ago. Skry is high in protein and low in fat. It has a slightly acid taste and feels smooth and silky to the tongue.
