Lavender

The lavender loves this hot weather and is looking great at the moment. On the other hand, lots of other plants are struggling now and with no rain forecast it'll be tough for some of them. I think we've decided that astrantias can't really tolerate the conditions we have, so they may be replaced in future. The rudbeckias are not doing well either, which is a great shame as they are one of my favourite autumn flowers. It doesn't seem practicable to be constantly watering them to get them though each summer. We might have to think about desert plants in future, but then they won't like the cold, wet winters...
