Hedge flowers

I love heat. I love scorchingly hot days lying on a beach being toasted. I love wandering slowly down to a taverna in the heat for a Mythos, souvlaki and tomato salad and maybe a Metaxa. And then wandering back to the sunbed for a cooling swim and a snooze.

Today we had heat. We didn't have a lazy day; cleaning again after the builders. We didn't have a taverna. We didn't have Mythos, souvlaki or Metaxa. Or a swim. Or a snooze. I did enjoy that tomato salad though.

We also had a lot of these in the lane hedge. Thankfully not in the garden; it took me about five years but I got rid of them. But in the lane hedges, don't they look great?
