Flower Friday

A busy day. Sorting in MiL's house this morning, a trip to the tip early afternoon, then a session hacking back the shrubs in her garden as it had become almost impossible to walk up the garden path (it's amazing how quickly they can grow in just under 2 months!). Blimey it was hot - I drank 6 glasses of water in a couple of hours and then had 2 mugs of tea and I'm still thirsty: certainly not typical UK summer weather!

At least I came across these rather pretty flowers on one of the shrubs. I'm afraid neither I nor my Editor know what it is, so please tell me if you know!
