Waiting for the train

So we set off after our last cooked breakfast expecting an easy three mile saunter into St Ives. Not a bit of it as the vegetation on the paths was very thick and was difficult to navigate in places. The sea once again looked so tempting for a swim. We sat down in the shade on a bench and low and behold the three “hares” appeared again. They must have been haring along but we knew they had a long way to walk today as they were walking onto Zennor and we know that section is rather tough. We wondered how they were going to make it to Mousehole by Sunday when thunderstorms are forecast. They had had a job finding their B and B last night. Anyway, we bid them farewell for the last time and waited in the shade for our train to leave St Ives with our bargain tickets of £6.95 each all the way to Exmouth which is a fair distance.
