101 pictures of Bass Rock

What I really like about our regular (but not that frequent) trips to Seacliff is the variety of the light and photography opportunities (even if you often come away with 101 different photographs of Bass Rock). It was great to be up early today on what has turned out to be a beautiful day, weatherwise, and to get out to Seacliff for a wander before the inevitable crowds arrived.

We also accomplished... filling car with fuel, getting the car washed, emptying the boxes that came back from Helsinki, emptying all of the boxes of kitchen stuff back into the kitchen (there are still spare cupboards much to our amazement), chucking away a fair few things and recycling some other bits and pieces to a charity shop who came around and collected at an hour's notice, a few more loads of washing, and generally tidying up and squirreling things away.

We also had a couple of meals which were cooked in the new kitchen - a cooked breakfast, and then a stir fry for dinner. It's been a good day, and I feel nicely back at home now. But given the early start, it won't be a late one tonight.
