One of our Sparrow fledglings taking a first bath after which he spent sometime airing his differences.

French Friend came to call and had some lunch with us.  She's decided not to return to France next week with her husband but rather wait until the end of July when the weather might be a little cooler??  On the other hand, we're off to Cornwall on Friday and rather hoping that the warm weather stays for a little while longer, but all the while knowing that rain is desperately needed for farmers, our gardens etc., etc, and well aware of the fire risk which persists in Lancashire at the moment, and feeling sorry for all those affected.
