Hey! 

Monday is history!

Good thing too. Work was a struggle. None of us was in the mood. 

Parliament is in recess, so the whole atmosphere has changed. Incoming emails have dropped by 80%

Schools are on holiday. Traffic jams have evaporated. Lots of weary looking grandparents on childminding duty, wondering how they'll survive the summer. 

December holidays came up in conversation, as they do in July, when work is a struggle. The Syrian has suggested I try Egypt this year. She grew up there. Advice like that is worth listening to. 

Blipping was a bit of a struggle too. Dinner was delicious, but not photogenic. I don't have pets. Junior isn't helpful...

So, it's a coffee mug souvenir from Lithuania. I reckon it translates as "Born in the USSR", which might be why Ramunė bought it for me. It has the crests of the various Soviet republics on it.
