Gamle Stavanger

We spent the morning on the Jæren coast, which definitely does have good sandy beaches, before heading off to Stavanger. We checked there was space at the campsite just south of the centre before filling up with fuel as Sunday is cheaper than the rest of the week. It’s just about the same price for diesel on a Sunday, whereas unleaded is more money. By Monday lunchtime the price is more than 2 Krone higher. We had a quick tea and then cycled down to town for an explore; it’s about 10 minutes to reach the quay and old town. We walked along the quay in the sun and took the extra of a reflection of the quay in an inclined reflective disc on the west side of the harbour. The main blip is a view in Gamle Stavanger, (old Stavanger).
