Davaar Island with Arran Beyond

16.3C with sunny sunshine all day long. Moderate NW/NNW breeze.

Not so hot today and a good cooling breeze. After lunch Fergus and I got my car and I drove us round to the Doirlinn (the low tide dog legged causeway to Davaar island). From there we walked along the road to New Orleans and then came back. The tide was about half way in and there were lots of seals hauled out on some rocks offshore, just past Kildalloig Farm. The fields are looking a little bleached, but the trees are lush and green and it was a lovely change to get out and round past the island on this side of the loch for a change and get a look across the open sea to Ailsa Craig.

On the Clip while walking:
2 episodes of BBC Radio4's Digital Human podcast in which Aleks Krotoski explores the digital world.

Visage (on robots with faces)
