Life through the lens...

Divine perfume.

After doing a final watering yesterday evening, I sat with a cup of coffee on the swing seat.
The smell was divine, coming from a tangle of roses, honeysuckle, and jasmine, on the fence behind.
These all seem to have thrived in the hot weather, as none have been watered.
The jasmine especially has never looked so good. May be because I pruned it hard back last autumn.

An early blip today, as we are just about to set off up to Grassington to meet our friends from Somerset, who are staying near by in their motor home.
It is G’s birthday and we have been invited to a BBQ. Couldn’t have wished for better weather.
I’m sure they are going to love Yorkshire.

Close up photo on extras.
