Needs a trim.

As you can see the roses have grown over the window while we have been away.
More cutting back and tying up to do. Just one of many jobs which still need doing in the garden.
You may just spot Mr C having a natter with S. next door.
( a real couple of old women!)

Another hot ( 29C ) sunny day, although it clouded over this afternoon, and I thought we may have a storm. However the clouds cleared, and we have a glorious sunny evening.
We are lucky that our old cottage is nice and cool in the hot weather, and we have some shade in the garden.
We have been hoping this good weather continues as we have friends visiting Yorkshire for the first time, and anywhere looks better when the sun is shining.
