Not grey all day but almost

How's that for a title.
Blipmate and I got a quick walk in at the estuary in the hope that the hawk would miraculously be there. Not today. A lonely heron paced about. There was some colour (see extras).
The day was much the same- some brief sun, sun showers, rain and cool.
I did get a walk in after lunch but have mostly been indoors reading and reading and some historical research on Papers Past. More reading. The Chase must be just about to start.Bye.
