Dois! I don't believe it!

Well it had to be this. We saw the last 10 mins in the Praca de Liberdade. It was too hot to be there any longer.

Had a good, full last day in Porto. Spent it mainly on the quay (cais). It had to be really. There are lots of performers there and we had a coffee listening to a lovely soprano duet. They were singing Halleluia and You raise me up among other more religious songs like Ave Maria.
Love the colourful houses down there. Crossed the bridge to get the breeze and see the traditional Rabelo port transporting boats and have a drink. A lovely cool Vinho Verde for me.

Lunch back on the other side (after watching some fool jumping off the bridge). We heard the football start and the cheer for the first goal. Walked back up to the centre and the big screen. Still 1-0. Found the sister cafe to yesterday's - Cafe Guarany and had tea. Not as fancy as the Majestic Cafe but nothing like as pricey either and nice tea. They asked if we were English and put the screen on. Saw the second goal but decided to get the atmosphere outside for the finish of the match.
A great end to our holiday. I'm not usually bothered about football but I will remember these matches we've seen bits of, both here and in Spain, with a special fondness. Hope England go all the way now.
We'll see the next match at home. In the airport now waiting for our flight to Bris this evening. Another day with Eda to enjoy before home.

It's been a lovely and very varied holiday and
I ❤️ Porto.
