Yum-Yum

Walking around the garden this evening I noticed that one of the roses was looking slightly the worse for wear, with many of the leaves stripped back to the spine.  Looking for the culprits I came across one leaf with 8 of these little nibblers attached.  I could literally see the leaf disappear before my eyes!

I grabbed the macro lens and managed to isolate this caterpillar amongst the many others.  It never ceases to amaze me the intricacy of such small animals.
