A time for everything

East Fork Lake state park

Sunday
After our delightful day yesterday, temperatures and humidity were already up quite a bit today. Our bible study after church gave us much food for thought today, talking about hypocrisy, referring back to the Pharisees, but also making us think of ways we can be hypocritical and or judgemental. After lunch, Roger had a quick call with his Dad, then we got out for the afternoon. We decided on a change of scene today, and went hiking at East Fork Lake, which lies east of Cincinnati, and about 35 minutes drive from home. Roger had picked out a 4.4 mile loop ( actually turned out to be more like 5!) that weaved through the forest near the beach.  The trail wasn’t that well marked in places, so Roger was glad he had downloaded the map from Alltrails onto his phone. At times you got glimpses of the lake through the trees, but I didn’t find anything I felt worth a photograph, so afterwards we drove down to the beach area, where lots of families were enjoying the beach and the water, and further out a few jet skis were buzzing up and down. I took a few pictures of the beach area, but decided I preferred this calmer image with the boat and a more interesting sky.
