Day two Mutawintji

Day two of our trip to the Mutawintji National Park ...we joined a cultural heritage tour with an Aboriginal guide which was really interesting. There are lots of rock art dating back 10,000 years, sacred sites, artefacts such as 500 year old camp sites and cooking hearths, fossils from the Devonian period, a spear for “ naughty people” (goes in but not out.....) and a very bright Milky Way. The gums and Coolibah Trees were beautiful. The dust was horrible.

Happy birthday to Maddy, missed her today. Back blips for 5-8th July.
