The Unicorn

Great Malvern just about has it all. Fabulous town.

This pub is a hundred yards from our friends front door. It has a blue plaque on the wall, commemorating the fact that CS Lewis, author of "The Lion, the Witch and Wardrobe", lived here.  It is currently decked in flags - I wonder why :).

Going up the hill, another building with an interesting back story, and a blue plaque - in 1889 a young American boy called Franklin D Roosevelt recuperated here after contracting polio.

Extra - also nearby, the entrance to allegedly the world's smallest theatre, the "Theatre of Small Convenience".
