Punning with Alice.

Being addressed as "Al" most of her life, it was inevitable that I tended to address Alice as "Pet-Al" as well as "Flower" (More than one Petal.) 
I can't, now, remember, or ask her; but I do know I once announced, of this plant:-
"It's a physalis Alice." And I always, if we saw any in a garden centre, pointed out that - 
"There's some of your Troemerias lass."

Think about it.
