Dear oh dear

I've been desultorily following the England v Croatia match. I have some cause to support both sides. It's clear from the noises across the development that the majority of (loud) people here were in the AOBE camp, given when the cheers occurred.

I hadn't intended to end up blipping a rose down on the Water of Leith. Oh no. I had intended to blip my "Sunday Lunch" - it being DaveH's "Sunday" and we met him and Meles for lunch at the Ship on the Shore. But I was so keen to get started on my fish and chips when they arrived (first time in a year, would you believe?) that I forgot to photograph them as intended.

Anyway, it was a lovely and convivial lunch.
