Barges on the Medway

What a disappointing result. Perhaps I should have watched the game after all rather than avoiding any pressure games such as this. But the future looks bright as England are a young team and hopefully will improve over the next 4 years.

On more mundane matters, we walked along the River Medway today from the Malta Inn to town at back with a detour to Evans cycle shop for bells and Leah’s for coffee.

The Medway, especially around the Malta is always a good location for a blip, there seem to be more and more barges moored here and more boats on the banks of the river between the Malta and Town.

On the way home we stopped off at Notcutts to buy a couple of chairs and table for the garden. Very comfortable they are too.

After lunch there was more fiddling around with the automatic watering system, probably just in time for a hosepipe ban!
