Personal Pots

Popped along to see potter Kathleen Morison this afternoon with an envelope stuffed full of cat’s hair.
 
For Kathleen uses the hair of people’s pets in the raku process thus making each pot both special and personal.
 
She came up with the idea after experimenting with the hair of her own cats.
 
Fergus (pictured)was her first  and she was so pleased with the result she did another one of her other cat Cleo. (See extra photo) and Ludwig whom I wrote about recently.

Now a gallery on the west coast of Scotland wants some for their showroom .
