Sleepy

A much cooler walk in the cemetery while Jamie had his last violin lesson of the summer, great for butterfly photography .... if you can spot them!   Without the sun on their solar panel wings they were not at all flighty.  Once I'd got my eye in it was the Ringlets that were most common.  I suspect there are still many Meadow Browns but mostly settled deep in the long grass.

After his lesson he played at the care home for Grandma and some of the other residents.  We were invited to stay for lunch afterwards which was nice.  All of which seemed to use up rather a lot of the day.  A longer than usual trip to the allotment while Jamie was at youth club this evening means the patch looks a little tidier and removing a lot of weeds before they seeded is always a good move.

Tired now .... suspect my bedtime reading will be short tonight!
