Disembarkation

We arrived back in Southampton on Friday morning - to grey and misty skies. After breakfast we popped out on deck to see Queen Mary 2 berthed further down the docks.

I only had my phone with me and this was the only thing I photographed all day! The quality is terrible.

After collecting our luggage ashore, we loaded the car and headed north.

A fairly good journey - considering it was Friday. We collected Finlay from our daughter's house and got home late afternoon - to a poor garden that has been ravaged by the drought!

Washing machine was working overtime and as we had no food in the house, it was a Chinese takeaway for tea.

Back to reality now...after a fabulous holiday.
